Sick for cute was originally founded under the name 'Kid Pirate' in 2005 by Lindsay Suppipat Gibson and Tyler Gibson - as Kid Pirate they created and sold screen printed apparel featuring Lindsay's artwork. In late 2006 Kid Pirate was expanded to include a new website www.kidpirate.com, which slowly started to incorporate additional products from other artists. At that point a light bulb went off - they decided to retire Kid Pirate and open a new shop under the name Sick For Cute with the intention of creating a cute and unique shopping experience.

Sick For Cute's motto is: 'Cute is for Everybody!', and they bring that to life by offering a variety of products at very competitive prices for women and men, including plus sizes.
